A new beginning for AmericaninDavao.com

As my readers know, 2 1/2 years ago I moved back to the US. I was invited to restart my life in a productive way.

I moved to Las Vegas and was employed as a Taxi driver. The shifts are 12 hours a day and it is hard to write about my life here working these hours.

I am doing well and received a promotion to Road Supervisor. With this I am on a 2 way radio where I can hear and talk to all the drivers on a Supervisor Channel. I am to support drivers with questions and assistance with problems.

With this promotion I do not have to pay the daily Shift Charge or gas. This gives me about $25 or more per day.

About our life:

With the assistance of family and some savings we were able to purchase a Condo. It is a nice 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Without a mortgage our monthly cost is not as bad as in the past.

The site will stay online for the foreseeable future as a resource to everyone out there looking to get a glimpse into life in the Philippines.

If you want to be in contact with me, you can email me at bruce@americanindavo.com or through the contact page located at the American In Davao Contact Page

I would thank all my readers and friends I made through this site and my journey through this experience.

It’s been a while since I last checked your website. I had assumed that you had abandoned it due to your busy schedule. But it is certainly good to hear that you and your wife are doing well and that things are really looking up for you both.
    Take care!
